A few years ago I had this odd idea: backpackers, campers, and travellers are often in primitive conditions, such as the great outdoors or backward countries without modern amenities, so...I put a small hole in a razor handle, toothbrush, comb, and the ends of tubes for shampoo and toothpaste; then I connected clips from keychains through the holes. The clips could all be attached and detached from a necklace that could be worn around a person's neck. That way, when you're in a public shower and there's no place to hang or hook the things you need or the walls are filthy, no worries, you've got it covered with everything attached to your neck. I sort of gave up on the idea, but I now keep an emergency backpack filled with a change of clothes, bottled water, food, flashlight, and other necessities should disaster strike. Inside one of its compartments I keep small items such as a pen, fork/spoon/knife, nail clippers, and a flashlight, all connected to a metal ring attached to the backpack - if an item falls out, no problem because it's connected to the metal ring that is connected to the backpack, and they're all easily detachable. You'd be amazed at how many items are made that attach to key chains: flashlights, computer flash drives/memory sticks, whistles, folding pocket knives,...So what's my point? Ingenuity. Somewhere, either out there or inside your own head, is the answer to your need to not lose things. Or, as Nathan Thomas Taylor once said, "The answers are all around you." :)

Groovy goal! How about this for starters: A place for everything and everything in its place; by having one assigned place in which each thing is kept, and by always returning it to its place, the thing will be easier to keep track of. For example, your keys could go on a hook by the door or in a bowl on your bedroom dresser. Just have a plan. You can succeed!
