Nothing new to report. Going today for my Avastin (placabo) treatment. I don't know if the Dr. wiil want to keep me there as I woke up yesterday morning with a bad sore throat. Still there today and I feel like I'm getting a cold. bummer, The flu has been going around too.
The weather here has been great BUT is supposed to go back into the triple digits this next week. All my spring flowers will burn and die when it gets that hot.
Love and hugs,Carol

Dear Carol
It sounds like you and I are sharing the same cyber-germs, as I have a bad sore throat and a terrible cold. I`m a bit concerned that it will affect my CA125 and CT tomorrow but will have to wait to find out during my Monday visit. I`ve been taking Cold Eze and drinking lots of tea. Hope you feel better soon!
Lots of love,
xxLinda

I still have my cold. My onoc.nurse told me to get Mucinex. It is an expectorant. Seems to work pretty good. I did get my treatment Thurs. They just put me off by myself.
Linda, I hope you are feeling better. Love Carol

I'm glad you were able to get your treatment. When I was getting chemo I had various infections and on assorted antibiotics but that never stopped them from doing the chemo. I don't know what it takes for them not to give it. It's nice enough here temperature-wise but extremely humid; however, I'm inside at work in air conditioning that is much too cold for me. That was the main complaint that I had during my travels last week - that the air conditioning was far too cold almost everywhere I went. I'd go out into the 100 degree heat of Austin, TX just to warm up. I hope you feel better soon. Much love, Janet
