I was down and out and you picked me up.

 I hurt and you kissed my boo boos.

I was crying and you dried my tears and listened to my fears.

You never gave up on me all those years.

I was yearning for love and you sent some from up above.

I asked for a sign and you sent me a dove.

I wanted to be needed and y ou sent me a friend to love.

I wanted to love someone and you sent me the only one.

You have been there for me through all the years of tears and sorrows and let me know there would be many tommorrows.
