      hope your leg problem is diagnosed, Anh, and I forgot to say on your post that prednisone takes the pain away for me but can't stay on it because of side effects . . . best wishes to you, hope you get relief soon.

      I was diagnosed with lupus in 1997.

      Treatments

      Azathioprine Working / Worked
      I've been on it since I was initially diagnosed. I believe it is responsible for keeping my lupus reasonably in check.
      Plaquenil Working / Worked
      I can't really tell. I think it's probably the least useful, but I've been on the same three meds for so long (since 1998) I don't have any point of reference.
      Prednisone Working / Worked
      I am very responsive to prednisone with very little side effects even at high dosages. Though I haven't been on a high dose since I was 19 or 20. My body might respond differently now. Currently I take 5 mg a day and sometimes I self-medicate with a little more.
