I hope this finds you all doing well. We are still very sad about losing Zoe and find it hard to believe he is really gone. He was such a big o'l teddy bear cat who loved hugs. I posted some pics of him and Krystal cuddling if you would like to view them. I keep going over it and over it in my mind and wonder if there was something I could have done for him that I did not do. I did not realize he was deathly ill. I just thought he was very depressed because of missing Krystal. I also knew he had been losing weight. (Found out he lost almost 6 pounds!) But the shortness of breath did not exhibit itself until the day before he died. That poor baby just could not get any air in to his lungs in the car on the way to the vet's and just keeled over and died. He went into a panic mode and then was gone. I wish I had realized it sooner. :( I feel like I let both him and my daughter down. Thanks for letting me vent.

The pictures are lovely. Your whole ordeal has made me realize that one day I will have to go through the same with my own kitty. I hope you start feeling better soon, too. HUGS

Sometimes animals tend to hide their illness until it is too late. You loved her and your daughter knew this. So many animals are mistreated but you all loved her and took good care of her she was a happy pet. Big Hugs!!!

When we lose a pet that we love, we always wonder what more we could have done. It is the same when you lose someone you love. I guess that is just human nature.
I could tell from viewing his pictures, that he was a well cared for pet and very loved. Try to remember the good times you and Krystal had with her. (((HUGS)))...Julia

I lost my beloved heeler "Spooker" in June. He went into heart failure. But we knew for months. I cried like a little baby. This Poem that the Paws in Heaven sent me helped. I hope it can help you...
GRIEVE NOT,
NOR SPEAK OF ME WITH TEARS,
BUT LAUGH AND TALK OF ME
AS IF i WERE BESIDE YOU...
I LOVED YOU SO....

Losing a family pet can really knock you down. Had to put our dog, Girlee, down last year; she was just shy of 15. They know something is wrong but don't know how to tell us. They will be sorely missed.

I understand your pain. Our dog, Cricket, a skipperkee died soon after Don. Then Don's dog, Tundra, got so possessive thinking he was the man of the house without Don here I had to lose him too. It's horrible to lose such a loyal friend as a pet. Sharon
