Thank you all for your love and prayers for Zoe. He died on the way to the vet's this morning. We are heartbroken and Krystal just broke down so bad when I called to tell her. He was her "baby" and as she says "best friend" . She needs lots of prayers. Thank you my dear DS family. I love you.

Diane, loosing a baby, best friend pet is the worse pain there is I think. I don't have children so my dogs have been my children. When they got old and died I almost went with them. Only comfort there is is that I will see them again one day in heaven. I'm praying for you Zoe and Krystal. Whatever pain we go through when we loose them is because we loved them and gave them good lives so in a way it is worth it to have the pain.

Dearst Diane,,I am so sorry about your losing Zoe. I know pets, as most have mentioned above, are such good companions and our best friends so many times. I hope you feel better with time, hon, and maybe get another cat when this sadness resolves. It's good to have a pet or pets, and while a particular favorite cannot really be replaced, still another cat later could be a comfort to you, and these little animals need good homes and caretakers to protec them. We do have two other cats Goliad. They are missing Zoe too I believe. One is 6 years old so he and Zoe were "pals". And our youngest is just over a year old. . . a real rascal but as you said not one specific cat can be replaced. Thank you for your kind comments. We do have lots of good memories.
