Thursday, July 16, 2009 | A General Update story

My sister, Martha, is still suffering with the mouth pain.   She is using the medicine the doc told her to use (the swish) but she says it is NOT helping.   My poor sissy.

Dad will be 91 on the 20th of this month which is next Monday.   I usually work on Mondays but my co-worker asked me to work her Sunday and she would work my Monday so that works for me.   That way I can go down and visit Dad on his birthday.  He has not been doing too well.   He may not be able to live alone much longer.  He has fallen a lot lately.  He does have nursing aides who come in daily to help him.   But they are only there short periods at a time.

Krystal and her gf, Dawn, are still communicating online and on still wanting to get back together.   I don't trust Dawn at all and Krystal  is at least being more wary this time.

My knee is much better now.  Praise God.

I pray all my DS friends are doing well.   Love, prayers, and hugs to all.

Diane

Martha's still on my prayer list with trust that this will resolve. Hard decision for your dad now that he's getting to where he needs more help. It was such a tough time in my and my siblings life when it was nursing home time. Life hurts at times. Thank goodness your knee is better...now take care! LOL

Just read a note from my neice and she said she took my sister Martha back to her doctor. She was given some cream to use on the sores in her mouth. This has been going on for about 5 months now! She was also told if this cream does not work, they will cut the sores out. EEEK!!! Thanks for contiuing to pray for her.

    Thanks ladies.

Dearest Diane,,I am very sorry that I am failing to keep up with some others' dilemmas. Huggs, dear heart! I do hope you take care of that knee and it improves daily. Seems we all have more than we can take care of. I am sorry for your father. These poor old people have it rough at that age, and my heart goes out to them. I am a little uncertain as to what kind of problem "Martha" is having, with my failing to keep up. Is it a dental problem? I am so lost right now with Deb and her heart condition that has gone undiagnosed the past 3 years by 1
