I am 21 years old, will be getting married soon to the love of my life, and will be giving birth to our first child in August. I also suffer from psoriasis. Before my pregnancy, it wasn't very bad and I was beginning to get it under control with topical steroid creams, but now that I am pregnant, there is nothing that I can take, other than traveling to a dermatologist 5 days a week for 50 second light treatments, which between work and school, I don't really have time to do. Also, since the pregnancy it has gotten extremely worse and it is driving me and my fiancee crazy. I joined this site to see if I can possibly find something out there that I can do for it without harming my baby.

I have had psoriasis since I was 17, but wasn't actually diagnosed with it until I was 20. I began taking topical creams to control it, it wasn't very bad then. Well, now I am 21 and pregnant and have the worst flare up ever. I mean all over my body and there isn't a single thing that I can take to control it while I am pregnant, except the UV treatments that between school and work I really don't have time for.
