I am 30 yrs old. I have a daughter she will be 3 in November she was born with L5-S1 Myleomenegicele spina bifida and is the absolute light of my life! Pretty much everything I do revolves around her and I wouldnt have it any other way. I am a childcare provider full-time and of course a mommy full-time. Life is busy!!

I love watching my daughter learn thats my #1 interest other than that I like going for walks, spending time with family, reading, of course watchin some tv, trying new things love to go to the Improv and laugh at comedians...

i have the same type of spina bifida as ur daughter except I am at the level of L3-L4
You are also the only other person I know that their child has an ETV instead of a shunt. What age was her ETV done? Does she ever complain of headaches? Have you and your neurosurgeon ever talked about a shunt after her ETV was done?

I am a mother of a two year old little girl who is the absolute light of my life. I am a homemaker and I also am a childcare provider. i am trying to go back to school but, cannot decide for what. I have a great boyfriend he is my daughters father he loves her so much it makes me love him even more! I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, teaching my baby new things and just trying to stay happy everyday!! Life is short!
A very close friend of mine lost her son two days before his due date. My boyfrend has lost two of his best friends in the last two years. And my mother has lost her soulmate.
My daughter has spina bifida. She is only 2 so, not sure how bad the problem is with her bladder/bowel. She is cathed every 4hrs. The doctors think she may have a little sensation. She does tell me sometimes she has to go potty. So, I'm keeping my hopes up.
I am 29 yrs old and obese. I am really concerned about my health. I have a two yearl old that needs me. I was a little overweight when I got pregnant gained 60lbs during pregnancy and 20 after!! Nothing is working, I have no willpower anymore!!
My father lives with a severe case of Rheumatoid Arthritis. He is now 54 and has suffered since hes late teens. He is in really bad shape and usually depressed. I feel really bad for him but, I just don't know what else I can do.
