I was diagnosed with Lupus about 10 years ago. The last few flare ups have gotten worse. This time I ended up in the hospital. This is the first time I had to be in the hospital. I am 50 and work. I had to miss two weeks work last month and my doctor told me yesterday I can not go back to work for at lest two more weeks if even then. Pretty depressed! I have never had anyone that has Lupus to talk to. Could use a friend that understands and would like to be there to support others who have Lupus. This is my first support group to join. Deb

Close Lupus
I was told On and off I have had Lupus for the last 10 years. Each time a flair goes away I convince myself the doctors that say I have it is wrong. This flair is a very serious flair and my doctor has put me on medical leave. I am tired of being in denial and want to learn to take care of myself better. I also would like to have other that have Lupus to talk to. i personaly do not know any one with lupus. My faith is what keeps me going.

- Celebrex Working / Worked
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- I can not take the shots any longer a few years ago I had a sever paranoid reaction to the shot. this time they had to put me on pills and it is slow going but I think it is helping.
