Hi theresa ,just wanted to say how very pleased i am ,to hear how well Briana is doing now......haven`t been around much myself ,as my mum`s been recuperating after an op to remove a tumour on her colon..
op went well ,but she got peritonitus after ,and ended up staying in the hospital for 8 weeks..during which we didnt know if she`d pull through or not.....so ,its great to say she is finally home......as am i...i`ve been with her almost 8 weeks too ,and have come back ,as i`m due a big dental op myself tomorrow///

Anyways ,am so so glad to read your news ,will be keeping briana ,and her family very much in my thoughts and prayers ,and hope she continues to do as well..

Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI started out having postpartum depression after my 2nd child was born in 2002. I have struggled and been on meds off and on since then. MD thinks my problem may be SAD as I seem to be worse in the winter months.
Treatments
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Lexapro has been a wonderful drug for me. It works well with no side effects.
Close Graves' Disease
I was diagnosed with Grave's in early 2001 after having 2 miscarriages. I was put on meds until I could do RAI. I had RAI in May 2001. I did not have any problems with it but am now hypothyroid. I am on 50 mcg of Levoxyl daily. I also went on to have a healty baby girl 8/02.

I have a 10 year old daughter and would like to share experiences and advice with other 'tween parents.

I have a 4 year old daughter. She has a 10 year old sister. I would like to share experience and advice with other parents of preschoolers.

- I try to be as patient with my daughter as possible. I make sure that I tell her I love her every day.
Open Post Partum Depression
I am a PPD survivor. I had PPD 4 1/2 years ago when my youngest daughter was born. I still have problems with depression, but it is controlled with meds. I want to help others who are going through PPD and let them know that it does get better.

- Celexa Working / Worked
- Celexa worked great for me. I was lucky to find something that worked on the first try.
Open Stress Management
I'm easily overwhelmed by stress. I suffer from depression and anxiety. I have a lot going on in my life. I work, will be starting grad school soon, and have 2 beautiful daughters. DH is not a big help at home.

- I love my Great Dane. She makes me laugh no matter how bad I'm feeling.

I am going from the business field, which I have been in for 20 years after earning a BS in business to education.
Open College Stress
I am a first year grad student. I'm working on a MSEd in childhood education. I started last week. I love it so far but am nervous about it too. Although I recently earned my second Bachelor degree it May, the classes were all either on line or independent study. This is the first time I've attended classes in over 20 years. I have to get a B average in order to continue in the program.

- Lexapro Working / Worked
- I have taken it for a few years for anxiety/depression. So far, it's helping me cope with school stress too.
Open Pet Bereavement
I have had pets all my life and am always saddened by their loss. I still grieve for my dog, Jeff, who I had to euthanize almost 2 years ago.
