Close Fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed in 1990 with generalized fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I was diagnosed with RSD in 2000.
Treatments
- Acupressure Working / Worked
- Incorporated into my weekly massage therapy.
- Acupuncture Not Working
- Committed to 10 sessions. No results. Will try again.
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- Have been doing therapy in the pool for several years. Its very beneficial.
- Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked
- Helps me sleep but cretes weight gain and brain fog.
- Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
- Use lidoderm patches. Somewhat helpful for cervical pain.
- Effexor Not Working
- Had an allergic reaction to this.
- Elavil Working / Worked
- Helped me sleep but created a weight gain
- Guaifenesin Working / Worked
- Could not feel any difference after using it.
- Heat Working / Worked
- Can't live w/o my Aquacell moist heat pack.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Creates severe constipation and gained 13 lbs in one month. It did help with the pain and my sleep. Discontinued it due to the weight gain.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- It created urine retention and fluid retention.
- TENS Working / Worked
- Use it every day to break up the spasms.
- Ultram Working / Worked
- Makes me very neauseated and sick.
- Vitamin B12 Working / Worked
- Not sure if it helps my chronic fatigue or not.

I was diagnosed with RSD and with scar tissue from a previous surgery. I have debilitating chronic pain in my leg and foot. Crushing, burning, thrubbing etc 24/7.
