      I am a mobile security patrol officer. I am 34 years old and have been suffering from Crohn's Disease since 1996. I have recently undergone 2 surgeries and currently have a temporary ileostomy since nov 2007.

      hey how are you?? how is the crohns/uc?? hows it down under.... does the weather help at all with the health?? any time i go away to a hot country my health seems to stay calm.. bizzare but great :)

      Any advice? I just had my colon removed to save my life and I now have an ileostomy. I saw you have one temporarily (mine is supposed to be temporary too). Any tricks to making this adjustment easier it has been really overwhelming!

      I have suffered from Crohn's Disease for 11 years and have had very little trouble until the past 3 months. I have just had two operations due to a bowel perforation. I now have a termporary ileostomy which I am hoping to get reversed in 12 months.

      Treatments

      Prednisone Working / Worked
      It helped ease my flair ups, however the side affects where not nice.
      Surgery Working / Worked
      I only had the surgery a month ago but so far all is ok.
