  My bestfriend has MS, so I feel like I should learn as much as possible about it. Her family lives in a differnt state, so i'm the only one around to help. So as it turns out, I don't really know much about myself at all. Here's what I do know: I drink my whiskey on the rocks. I was a vegetarian for about 15 years, now I eat mass quantities of red meat, curse like a sailor, sing out of tune but with conviction. I cry when it suits me (which isn't often) laugh when its inappropriate and I read SAVAGE LOVE out loud every week. I run free. I go where the wind blows me!

  you're an awesome friend. so many people lose all or most of their friends when they get sick, the precious few that stick around to hack it out and go as far as to learn about the person's disease are truly great friends and make a WORLD of difference so thank you on behalf of your friend i guess :) i think you rock. as does dan savage!
