i graduated from college with a degree in teaching. i did this not many years ago. after my girls were in hs. i work with people who have disabilities(mental and physical) . i am married and have 3 adult daughters. i also have 2 grand-daughters. i love to read, spend time with my family, listen to music, i enjoy nature and like to do crafts. since i got this flair up my life has changed a lot. just trying to keep my head above water.. i am feeling much better now. baby steps, baby steps

I have been taking care of my husband since his strokes, diabetic, breast surgery and blood clots. He doesn't need 24/7 care but he can't be left alone for too long. My daughter has been in bed/home for 4 yrs. with many health issues too. I also have a Mom and Dad who in bad health. I feel over-whelmed at times. I have UC and the stress of being a care-giver is causing me pain.

My Father was both a physically and emotionally abusive drunk. . He also had another family whom he was getting letters from while living with us. The worse and best day was when he finally left for good. The worse being he beat up my Mom rather bad and stole her money. The best was I called the police who came right away to escort him out for the last time. I married a alcoholic too. He wasn't as bad as my Father but he put me and the kids through hell.
