      Thanks for the e-mail, I thought I was the only caregiving sibling that thought my other sisters were going on with their lives and I was the only one caring for my Mom and Dad. We all have to reach out and ask for help more and utilize resources from Alzheimer's, Hospice, etc. My prayer for you is you find help and support from family and friends. Thanks for sharing. jrmom

      Stage: Advanced

      caring for my 88 yr old mother who has had alzheimers dementia for 8 years I find myself very lonely even though I have family who are not very helpful...they are living their lives and I guess I have put mine on hold until who knows when???

      Treatments

      Aricept Not Working
      did not work for my mom she seemed to have hallucinations while on aricept
      Exelon Working / Worked
      this seems to be working for her takes twice a day she seems more cognitive on it
