Trigeminal/Occipital neuralgia, nerve pain arms and legs, degenerative disc disease.

- Allergic to it
- Epidural Injection Somewhat Helpful
- Little to no relief
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Naproxen Not Working
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- But at a very high dose
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
Close Smoking Addiction & Recovery
I have smoked way too long and have tried quiting so many times, longest time not smoking 5yrs. Then chronic pain became worse and started dating a smoker. I hate smoking but can't put it down.
Treatments
- Nicotine Gum Working / Worked
- Nicotine Patch Working / Worked
- Nicotrol Inhaler Working / Worked
- Smoking Cessation Class Working / Worked
- Most effective for me. I felt powerful knowing I wasn't going thru it alone and couldn't b the 1 who couldn't quit.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- Had a seizure at week 4. Be VERY careful if you choose to take this drug.
Open Back Pain
Degenerative disc disease since 2000. Laminectomy in 2003, 70-80% improvement. Worsened in fall of 2005.
Treatments
- Chiropractic Adjustment Not Working
- Cortisone (Injection) Somewhat Helpful
- Epidural Injection Somewhat Helpful
- Naproxen Somewhat Helpful
- I don't feel it's very helpful if I take it all the time
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- Makes symptoms worse. May be effective for minor back problems and preventative but not effective for serious back problems
- TENS Not Working
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Even though I hate taking medication, I could not live without pain meds
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
