Close Psoriasis
Affected Areas: Psoriasis of the SkinI have had psoriasis for 9 years. I am 23 years old. I developed psoriasis right before my sister died of cancer when I was 14. It has progressively gotten worse as the years go by. This past year has been the worst ever though.
Treatments
- Coal Tar Not Working
- Made my hair very course and my scalp much flakier.
- Dovonex Somewhat Helpful
- It didn't help too much, it was very oily and hard to wear if I was going to go out because it would seep through my clothes
- Elocon Not Working
- Didn't do much of anything for me.
- Enbrel Somewhat Helpful
- It helped me in the beginning. This was the last treatment I used. You are only able to be on it for a year and when my year was up, my skin became much more scaly and red and I began to develop MANY MANY more patches than I had ever had before, and it has continued to spread since I stopped using the Enbrel. I also was always sick when I was using it, I would catch a cold if someone talked about being sick.

I have been overweight all of my life. I have tried lots of weightloss programs and diets. I was at my highest weight ever in April 2007 and I joined La Weight loss and I lots 60 pounds. I am still nowhere near my goal. However, I have been let down by yet another product and that is hard on my confidence and I have not lost any weight since, but I have not gained and I am ready to do this on my own, but i need some help!

- It worked until they went bankrupt and I lost a LOT of money and I wasn't given my products that I paid for. Very disappointing!!!!!

- Not so helpful...i was always hungry. Didn't lose much weight.
