    • About Me

i'm 14 years old and had to have my colon removed last year. i have a j-pouch(which is internal) now and have been feeling great. hard to believe but i don't have to take any medicine at all! only vitamins. i finished my 8th grade year and haven't had to miss a single day of school after only being able to actually go to school for 3 months last year. i know i'm young, but i've been through it all with UC. i definately know way too much about this mean disease and don't mind sharing my experience if it can help anyone.

VOLLEYBALL!! SOFTBALL!! CHURCH YOUTH GROUP! What a great year! One year post j-pouch surgery and no problems at all. It's still hard to believe that I am cured after being so deathly ill. I'm practically a high school freshman! wow! I will be having summer work outs for the next two months to be ready for highschool volleyball and softball and I am up for the challenge. The only thing I'm a little worried about is that my sister (and her friends) will be my seniors. That should be interesting.
