  Thank you for your words of encouragement. I'm always a little slow in checking my journals. My son is 25 and is what I call a social misfit. He's brilliant, but never felt as though he fit in. I think he found a crowd that was willing to accept him, druggies always accept anyone that is willing to do drugs with them. He needs to find a better way of coping with life instead of shutting it out. It's still a rough road, many days he won't get out of bed. The good news, I think and hope, is that he's staying away from them now. He quit taking his suboxone and refuses to go to counseling anymore. I can't make him - he's an adult. We have always been extremely close and that's what upsets me the most. I've been so wrapped up in my own pain that I couldn't see his. Now I take my meds everywhere I go, even to bed and the bathroom. His younger brother is in his Sr. year of college and is very popular. That causes problems too.
