  Your husbnad needs more time to heal. Did he have the Good procedure(robotic nerve sparring one) if so it takes up to a year for a normal erection. He can have an orgams even soft just takes alot of work. Keep the faith and stay together sex is not everything. Love making can be done in so many different ways not just orgasm, he will come around.

  I go to our health ins website and punch in what kind of specialist I am looking for and it takes me to the mental healthcare providers (all diff kinds) and I got a list of ones that are close by and checked what the therapists specialize in and found 2 that met the criteria. Both were males and I think it would be easier for a man to talk to a man about "guy" stuff. My husband has lots of other garbage he has been trundling around with him for eons so maybe he can get some of that stuff resolved. long story, ut to make it short...he had a pretty rotten childhood with a mother who should have raised ferrets instead of bearing children. She did a big number on him and his younger sister. His brother was her favortie little pet and while he had problems too it was nothing like the other 2 got. in fact the brother does not understand what the big deal was. Oh well, how could he as he didn't get the same abuse? I think all this will make him a stronger person by the time we get thru whatever course we take. Like many of the other posts I have been reading it seems like we wives and SO's are getting the brunt of the partners fears and anxiety. Were barely into this journey and it is already starting up. I mean, I got yelled at thisa morning because the drs. office girl who does the referral paperwork has not called us yet to get the info. I would not be surprised to find out she already has what she needs and has already started the process...that drs office is pretty darn efficient. I will wait until 2 or 3 this afternoon to hear from her then I will call. Of course bill will be bugging me every minute, but if she is working on it why waste her time? If she has not done it she can get the info and do a fax in less than 15 minutes. But we go thru this each time there is any kind of referral to any other dr...even when he needed a referral to the podiatrist for his funky toenails LOL. He has absolutely no patience whatsoever for anything. Gotta run, you take care and thanks for the encourgaement. hope things are well with you right now.

  Hi Just wanted to let you know that my husband had radiotherapy and in on hormone shots and the only thing I can say is try and get him to see someone. My husband and I have split since this started 2 years ago mainly because he wouldn't see anyone and took most of his frustration out on me. I love him more than life itself but find putting the head in the sand a really silly thing to do. After speaking with my doctor, she assures me that most men do tend to ignore help to start with. So my advice to you is stand by your man and encourage him to get emotional support outside of the home as well. Most importantly you have to look after you. I hope it is all going well
