Hello! My name is Barry, I am 39 yrs old and live in S/W England. I have retinitis pigmentosa and type 1 diabetes. woohooo! ;) I like to paint/draw sunsets and animals/pet portraits, though that's all getting to be a bit of a struggle these days... I like countryside walking and watching comedy DVD'S (I'm currently working my way through the Curb Your Enthusiasm box set and loving it!) I also love to play the harmonica ...when I can find it :D and I play the piano a bit.

Type: Legally BlindHello, not much of a 'story' to tell really - I'm 39yr old male with retinitis pigmentosa since birth. I've always had total night blindness and the tunnel vision has got a lot worse over the years. I get a great deal of comfort from reading of others with similar difficulties. (that doesn't sound right does it but you know what I mean... :) )
Close Diabetes Type 1
Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes about 11yrs ago, am taking Insulatard and Novorapid. Registered blind due to retinitis pigmentosa - still have total night blindness and some remaining central vision.
