I am a single mother of two. My daughter is a Mental Health Counselor. My son is a college graduate, however, is in recovery for a drug addiction. My kids are my life and my loves. Sadly, my mother passed away on Oct. 12, 2007. I am now an "orphan" as my dad passed Aug 1999 who I still miss just as much.

I read your journal. What a roller coaster of a ride you've been through! I'm so pleased you had a wonderful time at Niki's wedding. It was touching she put the charm, her grandmother gave her on her bouquet. A very sweet touch. I'm so sorry Tom went with that psycho. I know you feel horrible. I can feel it in your writing. I'll be keeping you and your family in my prayers!! I wish nothing for the best for you Sharon! You're just an amazing loving person. Work is keeping you very busy. I guess that could be a blessing. To keep your mind off from the bad. Donnie's anxiety has eased quite a bit. He gets anxious when things don't go with the flow. He's skipped his last 2 psychiatrists appts. He says he's feeling well. Yes, dad and I still have our coffee dates. It's the only plus in my life. It'll be just dad and I for Thanksgiving. Boy, the holidays get worse and worse for me. I really miss mom. She's been grabbing people at the home. Her doctor increased a med to help calm her down. Dad still visits her everyday. Bless him! He keeps himself busy as possible. It was so nice to play catch up with you. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers!! You're an amazing woman Sharon! I'm always here for you!! If you need to cry, then cry. It's a natural human emotion. I would rather you cry than keep it in. Have a safe trip! Love you much my friend, Katey xoxo
