I am disabled with Fibro. I have been on disability since Aug2007, I have a husband, an American bulldog, lizzard, and some rats. We live in a trailer beside of my parents house. MY HUSBAND PASSED AWAY ON FEB.18, 2008. I NOW ALSO HAVE A PUG PUPPY NAMED POOH BEAR!

I LOVE READING NOVELS. I ATTEND A PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH. I LIKE PAINTING AND CRAFTS.

Thank you Angie. I am doing well. Taking a little break from coaching....until January. I had to go back to work evenings. It's been a good experience though. I'm getting more insights on what I am supposed to do.

You are more than welcome sweetheart and I hope every thing works out for you. I am on Medicare as well. I stayed on original Medicare and not a plan so I could go to any doctor of my choice. Doing that way you only pay 20% and they pay 80%. Also get on part D for your medications. Forgive me if you already know this info. I just love helping everyone :) Have a great day!

I know your pain, but I must tell you that if your doctor is not giving you the pain meds you need .... my dear you need to find another doctor! I saw you on another post. I am a retired RN and a chronic pain suffer as you are. Don't give up and settle on a doctor that is not helping you! I had to really look for some time until I found a doctor to give me what I knew I needed to have some quality of life everyday so I could function. Never.... settle! Your paying them, you interview the doctor, and if the shoe doesn't fit move on until you find one that does! They are not Gods! I know! Don't be pushed around! Close Chronic Pain
I HAVE HAD FIBROMYALGIA FOR 3YRS DUE TO A LOWER LUMBAR BACK INJURY.I USED TO BE ACNA FOR A NURSING HOME, AND I HURT MY BACK SEVERAL TIMES ROLLING AND LIFTING PATIENTS. I ENDED UP GETING WORKERS COMPENSATION FROM THE NURSING HOME. THEN I APPLIED FOR DISABILITY IN JULY 2006 AND FINALLY WON IT APRIL 2007. IT GETS SO FRUSTRATING BECAUSE FINANCIALLY MY SITUATION HASN'T GOTTEN ANY BETTER. I WILL FINALLY GET MY MEDICARE IN FEB. MAYBE I CAN GET A SPECIALIST THAT CARES ABOUT MY PAIN!

- Cymbalta Not Working
- I GOT SEVERE HEADACHES FROM IT SO DIDN'T STAY ON IT AT ALL!
- Flexeril Not Working
- I TOOK IT FOR A LONG TIME UNTIL I WAS FINALLY DIAGNOSED. IT ONLY SLIGHTLY CALMED THE PAIN BUT DID NOT SUBSIDE IT
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- USE IT AT TIMES BUT ONLY HELPS A LITTLE!
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- IT SLOWED PAIN DOWN BUT DID NOT STOP IT FOR ANY PERIOD OF TIME
- Mobic Not Working
- DID NOT WORK AT ALL
- Naproxen Not Working
- USED IT BUT IT DIDN'T HELP AT ALL!
- Neurontin Not Working
- STILL USING BUT NOT REALLY WORKING--GONNA ASK DOCTOR TO DO AWAY WITH THIS MED
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- TOOK IT MANY TIMES AND TO PHYSICAL THERAPIST SAID ETHICALLY THEY HAVE DONE ALL THEY CAN!
- TENS Not Working
- TRIED THIS TOO CAUSED MORE PAIN
- Effexor Somewhat Helpful
- I THINK IT KEEPS ME FROM BEING SUICIDAL BUT IT DOESNT HELP THE PAIN
