Close Endometriosis
I have battled endometriosis for about 8 years now. It has to be the most horrible thing i've ever had to deal with. I have good days as well as bad. Lately it seems like that I have more bad than good. i have now been told by my doctor that i have 12 months to either have a baby or a hysterectomy. I feel so torn because i am only 27 years old, and not sure that I am ready to make that final of a decision, that is one that is irreversable and it is a very scary thought.
Treatments
- Aygestin Not Working
- It didn't help at all!!
- Extended-Cycle Birth Control Not Working
- I bled for four straight months when I was on this particular pill.
- Laser Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- It helps, but only for a couple of months. I've even had a nerve ablasion.
- Mirena Not Working
- I had to have it removed after only a week because it gave me a horrible infection in my uterus.
- Progesterone Somewhat Helpful
- HATED the side effects.
- Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- I've had laprascopic surgery four times. It helps, but it's only a short term fix.
