I am 42 going on 43 and do not remember a day with out pain in my life. It has always been at the forefront of my life and my being. Never a day without it, it is very exhausting and I am sick of being sick. I do have good days and bad day's it is always "Same Shit Different Day" though9hope I dod not get in trouble for saying teh "s" word.

Close Chronic Pain
Born with a muscle and bone disorder, over the year's multipule surgery's vien transplant in 96' now I suffer from Nuropothy
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- Only for the depression that comes with pain. They go hand in hand. You are in pain you are unhappy.
- Nerve Blocks Working / Worked
- Ok until the durgs wore off, now I have even more pain.Thank God for Dr DeYoung and the fentanyl, it has helped to get over the pain.
- Fentanyl Working / Worked
- So far, thank god, these past weeks, it has helped take the edge off, I am able to function.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- I have to take them I need them. Not so happy about that!!
Close Depression
I suffer from depression due to chronic pain, I guess it goes hand in hand. I am not depressed all the time only when I am going thru a spell, if you will, of extreme pain, I have been taking Cymbalta and that seems to help.
Treatments
- Nerve Blocks Not Working
- Not sure at this time I just had two procedures this past week, hoprfully my pain will go away then my depression will follow.
