At Home Mom, happy marriage, two boys ages five and one...desperate for more information in regards to ADHD as I am spinning with confusion of why I am like this. Our five year old son is in the process of observation...ADHD or Anxiety, Aspberger's (ASD), so things have been very stressful these days. I enjoy reading, sketching, talking, surfing the net, cooking, loud music (for short amounts of time), driving on my own...love that, actually, also, going to the movie on my own...love the looks on people's faces when I walk in ... ha! I love Autumn, and the way it smells...I enjoy people watching...who doesn't?! I am your average chick who has always known that I am NOT AVERAGE and I have always felt different and somewhat "smarter" (for lack of a better word) than most of the people I have met. I am looking forward to relating to some of you on Daily Strength and maybe even make some friends! Ciao for now!

My little squirt is a dream...so itelligent and always makes me laugh...and (here's where the honesty kicks...) and SCREAMMMMMMM!!!
Treatments
- Education (School) Not Working
- Buddy is five years old and has ADHD and is being observed for ASD and is not coping in the public school system...he is bored...is teased by his "friends" and is increasingly becoming depressed.
- Listening Somewhat Helpful
- Somewhat helpful to listen as it gives him the attention that he deserves, although he doesn't EVER stop talking so listening is a allll DDDDDayyyy event...not easy to do when there is another child to look after...also, I feel that I am talking to the wall and when listening that I am waiting for him to stop and hope that he would like to hear what I think about certain things...maybe he is too young at the mo to care what my opinion is on things but like I said...it's an all day event!
- Patience Not Working
- I'm ADHD and there is no such thing as patience for me...I do try but I can't only "handle" so much of the challenges before I need to ask others for assistance...bummer.
