About Me
I am a very busy mom and wife. I have 4 kids left at home (his and mine) and 2 of mine grown and on their own. My kids are a blast and my husband is so supportive and understanding. I also have 2 grand-daughters that are a joy! We love to spend time on our boat (interesting now that I know I am photosensitive with an autoimmune disease!) I am an RN and have spent much of my career in labor and delivery. I am now a case manager and have met many brave "sick" people. Perhaps my experiences are what make me a good nurse!

Close Multiple Myeloma
Stage: IAt this time I have Smoldering MM.
Close Sjogren's Syndrome
At this time my official diagnosis is UCTD. I believe I have Sjogrens. I "get" to start Plaquenil the end of March. My joints are pretty badly affected.
Open Lupus
My rheumatologist is calling me Undifferinated Connective Tissue Disease. I do have the Sjogrens dry eyes. My joints are pretty painful and swollen and seem to keep getting worse. I also have fibromyalgia. I will start Plauenil the end of March and really hope it helps. Sometime I don't have the energy to even breathe.
