Hi, my name is Lisa and I am 38 years old Happly married, proud mother of a beautiful son who is 15 years old. I was born and raised in Louisiana all my life until 2003 when I moved here in Washington state to be with my boyfriend at the time now husband for three beautiful years. Pray for a life time more with him. I love to read and watch TV, Movies, cooking, family get togethers and with friends also. Big talker. I am disable now for about 7 to 8 years now with my lungs. I need a transplant.

Close Pulmonary Fibrosis
I am 36 years old will be 37 in March. I came down with this illness in March of 2001.I have been disable with since. Its been a long hard struggle. I have great home support and family and friends. But they really don't know whats its like. I have to get on a waiting list for a transplant in the future sometime. So i am getting ready to go through gastric bypass surgery real soon to lose 100s to beable to get on the list. I am so scare. But i am postive in what ever i do.
Treatments
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- Well not sure it is or not. because like my dr said as long as i am not getting worse it must be..lol
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Yes because of prednisone i have a simi life to live. I can do things. But the side effects are killer. the weight gain is the worst.
Close Gastric Bypass Surgery
Do to my Lung Dease I ahve to lose 120 lbs to get on the lung transplant waiting list. its taken me two years to lose 48 lbs its not coming off quick enough so Dr.s are having me do the bypass so i am scared and want info and support on this subject
