Hi Everyone,
We are back from our visit to Boston. We were going from morning to night. The children appear to have settled in very well with William making new friends and participating in sports and a theater group.
We enjoyed two Halloween parties, a holiday I don't particularly enjoy.
Can't begin to accept the fact that it will be November 1st on Sunday. However, I'm getting ready with boxes and gifts.
I'm especially looking forward to the sale the day after Thanksgiving. Fred Meyer has traditionally had half-price socks.
People's carts are filled with socks for every member of their families.
I love it.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween.
Blessings.

I don't care for Halloween either. Fortunately in my apartment complex we hang out a pumpkin face on our door if we choose to participate. I choose not to participate so no pumpkin on my door.
It is hard to believe it will be November soon.

My husband doles out the candy, bless his heart.
I haven't purchased the candy yet and will do so
at the last moment.

Halloween is quiet around my neighborhood. We live at the very TOP of a hill and it's a steep walk. So, little trick or treaters must be really tough to climb up to us. So far, in eight years, I haven't seen one tough enough to make it. So.....my husband and I both ate a Snickers and called it a night watching old horror movies.
Hope all is well with your son. Mine is a little "out there" too. I totally understand your worries. Hugs, Becca
