Hi Everyone,
Another rainy day today but got to walk at the Mall.
Went to a great lecture at New Seasons entitled "Your Brain on Food."
Lots of good information.
Went to the noon Al Anon meeting today and the topic was HOPE.
Sometimes, a lot of the time, I don't know how to do this. I just say the word.
Don is outside raking leaves again and the street/leaf sweepers come on the 23rd.
We are fortunate to have this service.
Our new military family moved next store and we went to his installation this morning. They seem to be a great family.
I know, I know but I'm getting my collection of Christmas gifts organized.
I shop throughout the year and then sort through to see who gets what.
Enjoy your Friday Baking Adventure Chris 1981.
I missed Flash Forward last night but I guess I'll have to wait for re-runs or watch it online.
Wishing you all a very happy weekend.

Hello All,
We have had lots of rain lately so we are walking at the Mall. Get an hour in the early morning.
Brought an Al Anon meeting to a friend. She was in California helping a dear friend and her family and was under a lot of stress. It was nice to have a very small meeting with good supportive friends.
On Saturday I went to an open house for the new LA Fitness. It is huge and in the lower level of a shopping center. The open house was pretty good.
I'm clearing out more stuff from the house and broke up a very old wooden dumb-waiter and offered it on Freecycle. Someone will come this afternoon. I love freecycle! It saves so much from going to the dump and there is someone who can use my discards.
I've started writing Christmas cards. I joined some friends for a craft evening and I decided to write some cards.
Today: Walking the Mall
Attending an Al Anon meeting at noon
Getting a date for the Al Anon holiday party
Calling an Al Anon friend who is hospitalized
PRAYING FOR SERENITY AND PEACE
Hope you are all doing well.

Hi,
I've been busy since getting back from Boston. Can't believe how fast the time is moving.
Got out the Thanksgiving napkins, etc. and I'm flying a Thanksgiving Banner.
Our neighbors left yesterday morning for a cross-country drive to New York where the husband will be the commander at West Point. I will miss them very much.
Going to my friend Linda Beth's home this afternoon. She will work on some crafts and I will get a head start on Thanksgiving cards and Christmas cards.
Tonight I will attend a woman's clothing swap. Always a lot of fun.
My daughter and her family are settling in to Boston very well. George continues to be quite the chatterbox. William is studying his lines for his role in The Lion King.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Flash Forward was pretty good. My hubby recorded it for me since I was not hope. Have a great IDEA day today.
