Ok, so I got my test results back and I did test positive for Lyme. I have an appointment with a LLMD on Thursday, Feb. 21.

My best friend just got her test back also..6 months of pain, no doctors that would listen, has lost 80 lbs and near death.......whatever you do!!...don't let the financial keep you from doing what you must to maintain your health!! Get a financial counselor at one of the hospitals to help you...there are resources for people who can't pay. If you must, put your assets in someone else's name for a while so that you show nothing. You would think there was more attention being paid to this disease than there is. My friend of 30 years lives in a rural area and not near any LL facility...it's quite a blow to those who love her...we pray for her recovery and are desperately trying to just get her the help. Stay strong!

Close ADHD / ADD
I am a 34 year old wife and mother. I have suffered with ADD all of my life- inattentive type. You know that girls are rarely diagnosed- especially if you aren't disruptive. I was just considered lazy and an air head. I was diagnosed in Nov. of 2007 and it has changed my life. Unfortunatly, I am also seeking a Lyme Disease diagnosis so that is bringing me way down. I am the mother of 4 boys- all with ADD/ADHD of one type or another. It is a daily struggle!
Treatments
- Adderall Not Working
- Horrible reaction to it- made me dizzy and sick!
- Focalin Working / Worked
- This has worked the best for me. Gets me to a fuctioning level without side effects- I just wiss it worked longer.
- Metadate Somewhat Helpful
- it was ok.
- Wellbutrin Too Soon to Tell
- I am starting week 2 today- increasing to 300 mg.
- Chiropractic Adjustment Working / Worked
