  My husband lost his leg right below the knee. Before that he wasa firefighter for 25 years. He has tried all different systems as his stump is not shapely and MUCH harder to fit.Finally he has a systen that works but he also has a bad back.All this from helping others and our insurance company who always gives us a hard time. You are not alone-Please feel free to contact me as I did all his wound care and taught him how to walk again.I gave up my job as an R.N.to take care of him.
