My MS diagnosis came in 2004 when I was 49. The diagnosis came within a month of onset of the first symptoms. With me, it was double-vision. I got sober in 1995. There was a little two-month indescretion with prescription pills, so my sobriety date is 1/22/2004. Other little blessings have been bipolar disorder, and Trigeminal Neuralgia.

my mother did interferon for a good 5 years or more. It really drained her and took her away from the world. It wasnt until she couldnt afford it and insurance stopped covering it that she stopped. She became happy once she stopped taking it and began to live life again. My prayers are with you
I was diagnosed in March of 2004. For the most part, I'm still in pretty good shape.
I started drinking "professionally" at 17, and got sober at 39.
I had my first manic attack in 1999. Prior to this, the struggle had been with depression.
I originally was diagnosed by my dentist. A friend had mentioned TN the day before my visit, so armed with this information my dentist knew what to look for. She refered me to my neurologist, who treats me for MS, and put me on Tegretol.
