this economy is bad enough to give someone a stroke! as more and more jobs are lost DAILY, the cost of groceries continue to rise! every time i return the the grocery store, the prices have gone up even more! the avg cereal box is now $6.50, milk $5, bread $5, pears $2.40/lb, one small beef roast (the cheapset kind) $12.50!!! with all the jobs lost (and now all blockbusters across HI are closing), how the hell do prices continue to rise?!!! will someone please explain this to me?!
i got a call from Honolulu Fed CU yesterday that i'm over $500 behind on my truck loan payments. i didn't even know! i knew i was $190 but not $500!! she said i forgot to pay Aug for the whole month and that i missed a payment a month n a half before that. see, usually if i have a loan i set up automatic pay to take out 2x a month, been doin it for years. but my truck loan is a diff FCU than my Navy FCU that i use and i found out that one FCU won't do automatic pay to the other FCU. so i basically have to REMEMBER to pay it, and Lord knows my memory is pretty bad. when she told me i forgot to pay Aug, i was shocked cuz i swore i paid it.
last month i had to re-register my Chrysler for $187 and thought i could relax after that, but then found out that i had to re-register my Dodge RAM this month for $234!!!! i already been dippin into my savings for the registrations, and then to find out that i owe over $500 on my truck loan which i gotta pay up on the 1st PLUS pay the mortgage too, i won't have any money for groceries, especially at the prices they've become! this is when i feel the regrets of loaning that Ricky dude $600 back in May which he still owes me $250!!! i could REALLY use that money right about now!
in other news....
Matthew and Justin made up.... wewh! ...so he's calmed down a bit. he's gonna start some college here next month or Nov on the 9/11 GI Bill and then in Jan will be goin to school full time.
Kris bought the a whole series on the books about "The Five Languages of..." from the just one i suggested. lol
i got to see a GI specialist 2 days ago FINALLY!!!! in this case it was sorta of an emergency since my bowels "shut down" for almost a week. the GI pin pointed it to results of being on cymbalta. she told me i should get off it and is writing a note to Rheumatology in the system about it. i tried telling Rheumatology during my follow up about the side effect with cymbalta a few months ago but they would NOT hear me out and told me to stay on it!! the GI doc was shocked! thank GOD SHE heard me out and said to get off it. WOW.....
she put me on this medicine that's syrupy and smells like caramel, i gotta take it every day for a month and my system should clean out. then i gotta follow up with her after that and if i can't find my results from the 2002 colonoscopy, then she'll schedule me for another colonoscopy. i said whatever it takes, as long as i don't end up pooping thru a bag one day! guess i'll call rheumatology Monday about the whole thing.
guess that's all the update for now (and some rant about the horrid economy)..... if y'all got anything for me, just post it! i'm all ears. thanks again for being there and God bless! you guys are awesome friends! rock on!!

The navy fed online you can deposit TO any other account electronically, I haven't tried it for automatic payment to another bank but I've transfered into another bank...$12 for a bowl of cereal, fruity pebbles maybe but not cheerios. BUT YA GOTTA LOVE HAWAII

Economy will get worse, because it is to the advantage of the huge corporations that have the majority power on this world right now. The top 100 economic entities contain 53 corporations, and 47 sovereign nations. It is just possible that Hawaii is to be reserved for the very super rich, and it will happen by pricing everything out of reach of ordinary folks. That is, if it happens. Depends on how hard you all will fight for your homes and your lives. Hard to hear, I know, but the time is getting too short for any soft pedaled lies. And, of course, I am only a sick twist on ds, so what do I know anyway? answer, a heck of a lot. I am nutz, not stupid. Whatever you do, astounding alicia, pursue the health issues, and never give up. Know you won't. Your a stubborn jar jar just like me, only beautiful.

Hey Blue! The economy is a tumultuous disaster. It is cheaper out here in the desert, but very hard to get a job, as we are 70% alien here. They will work for peanuts. Very sorry to hear about your Bowel issues. I know that Cymbalta has caused some GI side effects that are quite serious. I went through all that falling behind stuff when I had my loaded PT Cruiser, so got rid of it and got a cheap pickup. Here in the sticks a pickup is better anyway. Best to you and yours! add on: i'm getting off the cymbalta sooner than thought... the med that the GI doc gave me only worked for a bit and now i'm having trouble again. so i'm skipping dosages because i can't get a hold of any of my docs to issue me a lower dosage so that i can WEEN off. i'll skip dosages day on-day off for a week, and then day on- 2 days off for a week, and then day on 3 days off for a week till i quit. of course unless one of my docs come thru and issue me the lower dose.

When I stopped cymbalta, I did it cold turkey. Felt kinda strange for a while, but in the long run, was glad i did it! Hope you are feeling better soon. I know what you mean about the economy............ it's freakin killing me here! I fell on the 21st and fractured my wrist so my work won't let me drive until I get this danged brace off. Was told I needed to wear it for 3 weeks then go for a follow up. Also, when I fell, it knocked the wind out of me and my side is so painful. I told the doc about it when I went, but he blew it off and said my biggest problem is my hand. Never even had my back, side, whatever xrayed! Now it's worse than my hand and I can't take a deep breath without pain not to mention the pain when I move around, standing, sit, etc. Do doctors really listen to everything we tell them?? I don't think so! I feel so horrible right now :( It all just plain sucks!
