HAPPY 4TH USA! Mood
Friday, July 3, 2009 | A Rambling story

Tongue outi'm excited that our independence day is upon us! i'm always axcited about this day! yay! Happy Birthday, USA! and the Kang Nam (N Korean ship) has turned around back home... so this makes me wonder if i should go down to Pearl Harbor for the 4th like the usual celerbration? or still remain home and just hang with family, drink, eat, have a good time at home? i'll take your vote!

Crybut... i'm concerened for this nation. N Korea has just tested another 4 missiles and according to CNN, N korea is still a serious threat to the US. there are so many issues for this nation that concerns me... when the nuke threat by the 4th of July from Kim jong Il was happeing and everyone said "it's not a big deal... he's just bluffing..."etc, it brought back those same feelings i had the day before 9/11... the bitterness... the heart break of all the dead people on our land... the smell of their bodies burned by the jet fuel... it is the worst smell on the planet. no matter how much you try to wash it out of your clothes, it never goes away. and i tried to warn people about 9/11 before it happened and they all said things like "you watch too many movies... too many countries love America... they wouldn't do that to us..."etc. but that morning of 9/11... and just minutes before it all happened nobody believed it yet... that it COULD happen, and it DID happen...

Surprisedback then we had prez Bush, and the terrorists still manage to slip thru his radar... and we all know Bush, he sticks to his guns, Literally! but the prez we got now... he shut down GitMo! set all those "terror suspects" go! WTF?! and then he sends $30.3 Million of our tax money to HAMAS, a terrorist group in the Gaza strip (that bombed Izrael)!!! how could the United States allow this? i am confused... all those dead in the military ... they gave their lives ...and Obama just spit on their graves by doing what he's done (especially w/ GitMo). if you ask me... and this is just my opinion, Obama is traitor... should be impeached & charged with treason... brought before a firing squad and executed. forgive me for being bitter... i am only a former US Marine that saw 9/11 up close and personal... enough blood has been shed... no need to spit on the graves of all those who died!!! we can't have a prez who f#cks over his own people! ...or are we even his people? he is not American... born in Kenya?

Winkanyways... enough rambling for now... I guess thinking of our nation's Birthday has brought all this up in my mind... thanks for reading my thoughts and concerns... any input is welcome! and to all those who pray for our nation, THANK YOU!!! you have good hearts and i am lucky to have you as my friends! you mean a lot! have a happy and safe July 4th!!

Strong language about the president. However, it is inspired by a patriotic heart and a love of our country and her people. As to the honored dead, they all are safe from the "dishonorers" now. They are all waiting with God for the plan that will not change to unfold. We who believe, know this. They who do not continue to fiddle and dance. So, Alicia, my vote is for home and family. Thank you for your service then and now, because we are all still serving who once wore the uniforms. Happy Birthday America! God save us!

Hi Bluesun! Happy 4th! Semper Fidelis!!! Yes, by all means celebrate! It must be great there in Hawaii. I was there once only for a stopover for 3 or 4 days. Go to Pearl. Party down. Paint your hair red white and blue! I don't need to tell you how I feel about those North Koreans. Or about t he situation here. I think about it all I get depressed. Our whole family is going to the fireworks at BYU tonight. The one thing I really like about Utah, it must be the most patriotic state I ever lived in. There are HUGE flags at every major intersection! God Bless America, and you all have fun! Wally and Colleen

Here in my hometown we had the Fourth of July parade and fireworks yesterday on the 3rd...The reason? to save thousand of dollars on the fireworks display etc...so today my hubby and I are celebrating with no rules...just the deep appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy...Happy Independence Day to all...mary

Happy belated 4th of July! God bless America! Honestly, I worry everyday about other countries doing to us what they did on 9/11. It's a scary reality that we are not safe from anyone! I don't understand what's wrong with those people in Washington, but most are out for themselves, anyway! So, thank you for protecting and serving our country! You are a true blessing! Love ya!~Brandy

Happy belated 4th.thank-you for serving our country!I hopr now the 4th has passed you can find a little more peace, feel a little more secure about the N Korean situation. My town has a whopping 250 people. We had a beautiful parade and a street dance!I live in town so it went right by my house and the dance set up 1/2 block away.My son was gone for the weekend to his friends B-day party so i was bummed.thought I'd be alone. My 2 dogs and I watched the parade with the neighbors and then my sister surprised me and brought 2 car loads of kids and spent the night. She made me dance every dance and we threw off our shoes and danced barefoot in the street!Too many beers and too much fun!LOL
