N Korea
they sent a ship on it's way here to the island to fire a missile at us. although i know that we have the defense to bring it down out of the sky, i am PISSED at the Prez that he let it get this far. Kim Jong said that if anyone tries to stop him, he will take it as a declaration of war. in my opninion, just the fact that Kim Jong Il said that he INTENDS on bombing us and is sending a ship over here, that it's self is a decleration of war! and what does Obama do?? oh um send whatever left over military we got to our island and gear em up for whatever may be in the sky. and he sent an American ship to follow the N Korean ship. which China is now pissed at Kim J and also has a ship follwing them. but if it were Bush or any other prez, they would NOT have allowed this to get to this point. they would have given N korea a time limit to surrender, turn around, and turn over nukes and missiles. but no... Obama just sits on his ass and comments about Iran. so we stocked up on canned goods, water, batteries, candles, flash lights.... and Sonnie is gonna buy a hand held radio, paper plates, plastic ware, more water, etc this wkend. with the passive non-experienced prez we got today, ANYTHING can happen!

he is seeing his psych again today for a follow up. i haven't noticed much improvement on his depression... he has withdrawaled from anything out side of the house. he doesn't want to go to the beach with me anymore so i have been going on my own. he stays in the bedroom most of the day and just plays video games. also he has had NO sex drive what so ever for several weeks now. none. not even interested. i really wish i could reach down in there and lift this weight off him... there's many things in our relationship that i miss. but more than anything, i hate seeing him so low and hurting. i want to see him get better... it hurts to see him like this. the goodnews about him is that he got his aproval in the mail to start college in Aug and will be funded by the new Post 9/11 GI bill.
the economy
it seems that it's not turning around yet... no signs of it. more and more people are loosing jobs... more companies are going under. the future looks grim for so many poeple. including Matthew and i know this is part of his depression. but hopefull by the time he gets his degree, the economy will be making a turn around. like i said before, we are in another Great Depression.
well... as far as everyone else goes... hope life is better or will be getting better. luv you all!

I agree about the President. People seem to be turning a blind eye to him and allowing things from him nobody else would get away with. I worry about our country and this is one of the major reasons. And the economy is another thing. People say the President is a great speaker, well it is written for him. He needs to follow through with what he has read to our country.
I'm sorry to hear about Matt's depression. Please know that I will be praying that things will turn around, he will get funds to go to college and he will start feeling better. I'm sure it's hard on you to see him so depressed.

Hi Sweetie - I know you're worried and angry about the ship and the missle, but it's all going to be OK. They don't have nukes that will work with the missiles, so they can only do so much damage, if indeed the missiles aren't blown out of the sky, which is the most likely outcome.
When does Matthew get his degree? My hubby is on his last class and he'll graduate with a BS in Business Administration at the age of 48, exactly the same age I was when I got mine! It's never too late!

My dear friend: Colleen and I have been praying for you and yours, and I know you know how I feel about North Korea and their lunatic dictator. You are right. We need a person with the FORTITUDE (a nicer way of saying B***s to jump their asses and put them in their place. I'm an old guy of 52, but what I wouldn't give to be back in the USMC as a grunt and get as many of those bastards as I could before they got me. Sorry but it makes my blood boil. And I'm a God fearing man, but I still got The Corps in my soul. As for your Matthew he is in our prayers too. I have been very depressed. So depressed I had the gun on the table. For me what worked after losing EVERYTHING I had (my career, my girl, my money car and home) was to turn to God. Different things work for different people. Matthew has our sincere support and so do you. Always.
As for the economy, it just might be the downfall of this country. Here in Utah, I see drifters everywhere. People who were working and had the rug pulled right out from under them. Chrysler and GM are as good as dead and Ford is dying. I think, "My God, what has happened to this country?" Here in Utah, all the jobs that a person could do on the side are being taken up by Hispanic people, because they work for less. I like Hispanics fine, don't get me wrong, they are good people. But a great deal of those jobs here are being filled by illegal aliens. It is happening all over. I was in San Jose/San Francisco for ten years. All the docs I had were of Chinese or Oriental origin. It was 80% plus immigrant and I bet half of those were illegals. It has swept through California and Nevada through Arizona and now in Utah. Same thing of course in new Mexico or Texas. Colleen and I are actually considering moving somewhere like Maine or Minnesota because there at least a person can find work. Maybe. Well I have rambled long enough. Feel free to vent anytime to me,I'm here for you.I'll Message you My IM,then you'll know when I'm on if you want to chat.I understand your fears and would feel the same way.I hope Matthews depression gets better!!It's hard to watch someone we love in that state and can't fix it,make it better.I'll keep both of you in my prayers!I wish I was at the beach with you!The water and sun are my equal first loves!!As far as the ecomomy goes,its really scarry.My son was complaining to me about us being poor,can't do alot of things anymore,now I am a single mom and just have my SSI,1 income.We watched a news program on how these 2 parent families are living in shelters,lost their homes,jobs etc.I said see,we aren't that poor!God has blessed us!I was able to buy a beautiful home last year from my chiropractor,we have all the necessities,love,food,clothes.We are on a budget and can't go lots of places but we have alot to be greatful for!!!! We have heard none of this about N Korea over here..... I hope that all will be well with you. I am sorry Matthew is still struggling, perhaps once he starts school he will feel a bit more motivated. His meds might have some impact on his libido, but encourage him to talk about it with his doc.

I've been thinking about you and came online here today to specifically write you. I agree with just about everything everyone said and more. I'll be thinking about you and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Kim Jong Il is an asshole and I can't see them bombing Hawaii because if it happens, with all the warnings we have had from this idiot (at least those who have found it on the news online because it's not on tV, after Michael Jackson died and that's all anyone should be caring about, plllllease!! ::sarcasm::) the American people need to take back their country and be We the People instead of we the Sheeple!
Also sorry to hear about Matt's depression, but if he's on any anti depressant meds, most of them have a side effect of little or no sex drive and he is lucky to have someone as understanding as you, not everyone is!
Get him drunk on the 4th after N Korea is made an ass of, then take advantage ::giggle::!
