i'm still pissed at my ex property manager. after she disaproved of the profesional's cleaning results, we went back there friday to re-clean some things are selves. she re-inspected the place sat morning just to find even more crap she was displeased with! so basically, she is still stuck on keeping majority of the security deposit (which was $1,850) for hiring pro cleaners AGAIN to re-clean the entire house, plus every single possible damages she could possibly think of (even normal wear and tear)! and there is no way i'm gonna let her keep such a large amount of my money!! especially for something i shouldn't even have to pay for! PLUS she doesn't want to give back the portion of the rent for Nov that she said she would! she's tryin to say that i didn't give her proper notification when we moved. bull fu#kin shit! i gave her the written 30 day notice which expired Oct 31. and then told her that we would need to stay for part of Nov since the escrow date had been pushed back again. so i paid the full Nov's rent and she said she would return the prorated unused portion of rent. what a liar!!! she's a fu*kin crook! we decided we are going to have to end up in court!! so today at lunch time, i will meeting up with a freind of mine that has good legal knowledge about these kind of things and will help me put a legal letter together to notify her that if i don't get the proper refund, we will be goin to court. huh! she can eat that!!! bia*ch!!
yesterday, i went to home depot... bought some soil and plants for the front yard. it just looked so plain even after i planted 4 plants before thanksgiving. so i went and got a bunch more and planted them. they're just little plants, tho, nothing big. it hurt like hell but i got it done. a couple weeks from now, i plan on goin back to buy some young palm trees to plant out front. i want a row of palm trees between me and the neighbor's front. i think that would look pretty. it's not a big front yard at all. but i want it to look pretty by xmas. we will also be getting lights to string up out side, just a few strings. normally we don't really decorate for xmas, but this time is special. the house is a xmas present to our selves. we should decorate it! also... Matthew will be checkin out of base xmas eve!! what a xmas present that will be!! his active duty time will be over! YAY!! talk about perfect timing! lol! i'm so excited! for that reason alone, he wants to decorate the house up. he feels that this xmas is a very special one! mom and i agree. he deserves a nice xmas, too. but my younger bro, Sonnie, on the other hand... he's being a grinch about the whole thing. we asked him what he wanted for a present, and he just stomped off and said "nothing!! don't get me anything!!" pffft... whatever...
we also decorated our little xmas tree in hanukkah colors of blue and white (since mom's side of the family has some jewish blood so we honor that). and mom stiched together all the xmas stockings of green and white. it's so cute!! i can't remember ever having stockings before, so this is a treat!
yesterday, mom and i were discussing what to cook for xmas. we decided that we're gonna cook a huge lamb roast instead of the usual turkey. so ... lamb roast, yellow rice (ceremonial rice in Indonesia), Matthew's famous cranberri sauce, and green bean cass. for desert, mom and i will bake oat meal cookies w choco chips and walnuts, and we'll make cinnamon ball cookies, too. oohhh! i can't wait!! this will be so fun and so yummy!!
well i hope everyone else's holidays will be just as fun! this time of the year is a time to forgive each other and think selflessly. it's all about love and family. so if you have to humble your self to get together with those you don't like, at least put the weapons down for those few days and show love and care to one another. it's time to close the year with peace and forgiveness. God bless all of you!

what a shame that you have to waste so much of your precious time to deal with a landlord. good luck. Especially since you have a new home to be celebrating in.try to enjoy the new while coping with putting the past behind you.

I love to hear how exciting everything is..... It will be really special to have Matt home for Christmas eve, and wonderful to have your palm trees and your lights!!!!
You write that letter, and hopefully that cow of a woman will back down and pay up. If not, I hope the karma train comes and smacks her one.
You're so organised.... I haven't done anything for Christmas yet! I must go shopping this weekend!!

Wow! You've definitely had a lot going on, lately! I can't believe you ex property manager. Well, actually, I can because I went through the same thing with mine when I moved. It's crazy how crooked these people are! What a Xmas present to have Matt getting out! I'm happy for y'all. I think a row of palm trees would look beautiful. We'd like to get one ourselves, but they're so expensive! As for Xmas lights, I can't wait to see the pics! I love decorating for Xmas, so, I'll have to take some pics, too. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it for Xmas. I would love to come, but just can't afford it at this time. I'm trying to save up money, so, that I can visit soon, though. I wish I was going to be there for the scrumptous meal y'all are making! It sounds sooooo good! Well, I'm gonna let you go. Hugs for you!
