Hello, I am 29 years old and I am suffering from IC. Used to have it all. Nice car, great job, and nice looking ladies but I have lost it all due to this horrible medical condition. Before I was diagnosed I used to surf and golf everyday but now I am stuck indoors and life is pretty much over! :( I'm not looking for sympathy from anyone, I just want to meet other people with IC with whom I can relate too.

I know it's hard and it totally sucks. Mine improved, maybe yours will too. Maybe they will find something better. They've made advances since I was diagnosed in 2000.

Hi- I have a horrible case myself. Also ruined my life....then fibromyalgia came right after I was able to return to college and live, ride bike, etc. now I have a regimen that kind of works. I live almost a normal life. It took a few years and a several books to read...I may be able to help

Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
Iv'e had problems with my bladder since I was in my young 20's. Finally I was diagnosed with IC in April of 2007.Elmiron is not working and the bladder injections didn't work either. I joined this community because my next step is Bladder Distention and I'm a little scared if you know what I mean. My life is crumbling apart slowly but surely and I don't want to give up. :(
Treatments
- Elmiron Not Working
- Iv'e been taking Elmiron for almost a year now with no relief
- Pyridium Not Working
- Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
- I have been taking it for almost 2 weeks and I have noticed an improvement in my attitude a little. Still though it can never compare to zanax.That is the only drug which truly give my mind troubles.
