Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI was diagnosed with RRMS in July of 2006. I've had enough 'incidents' throughout the last 15 or 16 years to think I've had it a lot longer! Anyway, I'm married and have a 15 year-old son. I was really relieved when I found out I have MS and not ALS!!!! I'm still workingt and still walking (usually with a cane!)
Treatments
- Beta Interferon Working / Worked
- It definitely curtailed the lesions in my brain for now.
- Provigil Working / Worked
- It worked early on, then it didn't seem to help my fatigue anymore.
- Rebif Working / Worked
- it really curtailied the occurence of lesions, according to faollow-up MRIs.
- Solumedrol Working / Worked
- The infusions have really helped me, given me more energy, better balance, decreased my fatigue, imroved my gait.
