Sapphiretyger's Journal

I am grateful for so many things in my life. I just wrote a list, and more things kept coming up! I walk around my house and look at possessions which bring back good memories, see how clean and organized I am becoming, see photos of loved ones, the clothing I can now fit into, the pets I adore, the cupboards full of food ... and so much more.
I am also grateful for that which is NOT here. Drugs, paraphernalia, and all of the trappings of addiction are far out of my life. The signs of an unhappy relationship and feelings of being oppressed and controlled - gone. Unpaid bills, empty refrigerator, eviction notice - history.
Also missing are the plus-sized clothing I was wearing, and unhealthy foods I was eating, prior to April of 2007. Hooray!
