Tomorrow we are having a luau for my mom and my birthday celebration. My daughter and I went nuts planning this thing. Nuts in a good way! It's going to be the first "Polynesian" celebration we have had, but not the last, since she bought a ton of luau-themed party supplies!
I always wanted to live on an island, whether Hawaii or in the Caribbean. Never made it. I would settle for a shack on the beach at this point!
We are supposed to swim, but the weather calls for rain. So our little luau might very well be indoors. Oh well!
Anyway, I plan to eat healthy even so. I have lost a few pounds since getting back on track, and don't intend to gain those back!
