Close Obesity
I just began a new path to health yesterday. I joined TOPS and will begin going to CURVES on Tuesday.

- Cutting out cola and eating nothing with more than 3g of fat per serving except for nuts and butter
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- Walking about a mile a day worked in the past so I am going to try it again
- TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Too Soon to Tell
- Just joined, it is a support group. We will see

- Worked in the past. I cannot find a group that meets when I can go but I am still looking!
Open Sarcoidosis
In 2001 I went down and missed a nine weeks of work, I am a teacher. They told me it was MS but..last christmas my ankles swelled up and they did a chest film and then a biopsy and low and behold....sarc!! I have lung and lung involvment. I also have neuropathy and lymph nodes swollen all over.

- With the swelling etc. limps still there!!

- They cannot get my thyroid straight, I have hoshimotos thyroidosis

Open Autism / Autism Spectrum
My son was just dx at age 6 on the spectrum. He is also ADHD and has hypersensitivity to a lot of things. He screams and is very often out of control. He makes messes all over and cannot stand of any place to be in any sort of order.

I was dx in 1998 after considering suicide when I was very content?? I freaked and called the Dr and he said "Thyroid!!" Needless to say, I am still here!! I have Hosimotos Thyroidosis, a family trait!! among the other illness I have, what a joy!! I have 7 diseases in all that I have been dxed with, think that they are all related to the thyroid?? Hmmmmm.....I do!!
