My weight loss story. Mood
Sunday, November 15, 2009

Well I started in jan.09 and my weight then was 255lbs then it went up to 298lbs and I hated the way I felt my health was going down hill real fast I was in and out of the hospital all the time and was unable to do alot of things I used to do. I had two doctors come to me and ask me if I would consider Gastric Bypass Surgery they felt that it would be of great help to my health and well being. So thats what I ended up doing  this past Aug.26th and I'm glad to tell you as of today I am down to 198lbs and I'm off all most all my meds. I was on over 15 diffrent meds and o2 at night for sleep apnea I now take only 4 meds.  No more high blood pressure meds no more sleep apnea and no more o2. and feel like a new person able to do so much more then before . I went from a size 44 pants down to a 36 and may have to go to 34 soon. So I am so Thankful that the Lord gave me these Good Doctors to help me over come this health problem and have a much better life.

Dan

I'm having a real hard time today thinking about my Good Friend Paul who lost His Life on this Day in 2001 in the W.T.C he was Part of the F.D.N.Y  he was such a good friend to me We went to the same School and we would hang out after school in his VW and then we ended up in the same Fire Dept. untill he went to the city it was his dream to become a New York City fire fighter it was only his first year.

I miss Him so much and to see His wife and son just makes it harder. there is a Service for Him tonight at 7:00 I'm going to try and make it but I know it will be very hard to do this.

I will never forget You Paul or all the other's that Lost their Lifes that Dark Day. Rest in Peace My Friend .

Your Friend and Brother Dan F.D.H.P
