UGH not having a good day, or really a good weekend for that matter. On Saturday we discovered that our shower/tub has 2 cracks in it. So this morning my Mom called our plumber, and found out that the cheapest thing would be to replace it with at newer/better unit. So today we went to the store and picked out a nice shower tub combo and new faucet, the downside is that it cost us $500. And now mom has to get our contractor out here to install it, so that means paying out more $ that we can't really spare. The contractor is coming out tomorrow, to check it out. Hopefully he can do the job this week, because right now we're washing our hair in the sink and taking sponge baths.
The joys of home ownership, my poor mom is really upset about this. It's probably going to deplete her savings.
