Close Sexual Abuse
I am a child sexual abuse survivor. I was abused by my cousin when I was aprox.8 years old. I am now 36. I was physically abused by my mother and sexually abused by several of her boyfriends and friends from age 3 to 12.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- it helped me tremendously throughout the yrs. although I went through several to find the right one for me. Talking through it is what works. It brought back more memories but that would have happened eventually anyway. still does.
- \"The Courage To Heal\" Working / Worked
- I read this book when I was 21 and it helped me to see I wasn't alone in how I was feeling.
Close Stroke
I was diagnosed with "Oslar Weber Ryndo Syndrome" which causes strokes. I've had 2 bleeds and I have 4 cavernous malformations on my brain. My oldest son has had to have brain surgery because of this. It usually affects other organs, but in my case it has affected our brain. I would like to know if anyone else out there has this also. I would like to know how to deal with it from someone other than figuring it out as I go on my own. I have a younger son that I worry has it.

- Ibuprofen Somewhat Helpful
- This syndrome causes seizures that are hard to control.

I have these weird episodes the neuros. call anxiety?? now my family doc. has decided it is simple partial seizures and has put me on tegretol for seizures and maxalt for migranes.
