    • About Me

      I am a grad student relocating to VA soon to obtain my doctorate in health communication. I've made health/cancer communication my life's work because my grandmother died of cancer in 2002. It was very rough for me as I grew up with her and my mom and spent most of my time with my grandmother as my mom was a single parent. This has hit me really hard and I still struggle from depression to this day. I am hoping that by helping others I can heal.

      Welcome to DS. this is a fabulous site and I hope you get the wonderful benefits here as I have.. I can't help wondering why you have joined so many cancer sites with no explanation.. The last time this happened it was someone working for a private company who was trying to sell a product or service to cancer patients.. I would not wish for you to be misunderstood in this way, but it is curious.. wishing you all the best here and look forward to getting to know you better.. xxx
