Vaca was great! I am a little behind in journaling about it - one of these days! I didn't get the job I applied for (boo!!!) but I continue to look! Yup - end of August I start classes. Not sure which one is my first class, but I'll keep you posted! How are you doing?!? Did you listen to the new DMB cd yet? If so - how awesome is it!!!???

Type: EndometriosisI have been TTC for 2 years and am very new to the world of infertility. Everyone thinks I should know all there is to know about it since I'm a nurse, but I don't. I suffered from endo in my early 20's and had a lap cystectomy 10 years ago. April IUI at GBMC #1 Failed, June IUI #2 at GBMC failed. IUI #3 with SHADY GROVE 8/24 BFN. Considering March 2009 IVF, but on an official break right now...reconnecting with my DH!
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- April IUI w/Clomid failed. No side effects to mention. June IUI w/Clomid failed, with min. s/e from 100 mg Clomid.
- Basal Thermometer Not Working
- I work night shift at the hospital 3 days a week and it just wasn't working right d/t the diff. sleep/wake times.
- Clomid Working / Worked
- 50 mg produced one follicle, 100 mg produced 4.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- I have been taking a PNV the whole time we have been trying to get PG.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Somewhat Helpful
- Using in IUI #3
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- After my cervix was dilated, and 2nd HSG revealed my tubes are open! Yay!!
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Working / Worked
- Have been using for 1.5 years. Mine works great, and I learned from my RE that I was reading it wrong and I'm actually ovulating! Yay!
- Progesterone Somewhat Helpful
- Used in IUI #3. Quite messy when used as suppositories.
