9 Weeks Today Mood
Friday, May 2, 2008 | A General Update story

Well im 9 weeks pregnant today. Its still hard to believe as i feel so sick and tired all the time that i dont think its sinking in. I have my first scan on the 22nd May so hoping that when i have the scan reality will kick in and it will seem more real.

Im a bit of an emotional wreck at the moment as not only do i supper with depression anyway but i now have my hormones flying all over the place. Just got to try and stay strong.

Although im 9 weeks i still have a worry that something might happen to the baby. you hear of so many people loosing their babys within the first 12 weeks that its hard not to be a bit scared and nervous about it. I suppose the key it so just stay positive and keep on going.

Hey! I am eight weeks pregnant and you know what? I had a horrible emotional start to this pregnancy. I wanted to offer up some thing that have turned my mood and my sickness almost completely around!! I have been exercising everyday a little bit at a time, no running, but fast walking, swimming, biking, this ha made a HUGE difference in how I have been feeling and I know it could help you too. Also besides taking a good prenatal vitamin, you should try Vitamin D3, it's linked with bone strength and absorbed throught the skin form the sun, so it elevates your mood as well. I am taking 4000 units a day with my prenatal and it has helped significantly as well. It's been a long winter here in Montana and the lack of sun gets to a body, I don't know where you live, but if it has been a long winter for you Vitamin d3 could help. Wish you all the best in your pregnancy, it's so hard to just convince yourself to stay positive sometimes when the hormones flare up. Moving and nutrition are key oxoxo
