Wow, I am on the countdown now!  I think I have everything I need for Megan to come, but I still have some last minute details to take care of... packing bags for my other kids to have while I am delivering (they will go to my sister's house), packing my hospital bag, etc.  We are having a cleaning person come in on Wed to clean our house before I go in on Thursday for the induction.  

I went yesterday for my scan/testing... they are saying the baby is 8 lbs, 3 oz which is very manageable.  They are estimating her birth weight to be about 9 lbs next week.  I guess from that standpoint, it's better to deliver next week than go 2 more weeks and have a 10 lb baby...lol.  I go on Mon again for one last testing appointment and then on Thurs I am on the schedule for 7:30 AM.  I am a little nervous now that I am going off of the baby aspirin, but my dr assures me it's ok and they won't give me my beloved epidural unless I am off of it for a week.  

Megan is moving around a lot less now which can be disconcerting, but my dh keeps reminding me that all of our kids have followed this same pattern.  I know my ob is a bit concerned and that's why she moved the induction up to next week in the first place.   This way I can go off the aspirin in a planned way and not risk an emergency induction (which she fears they would do if Megan moved any less during testing appointments) where I might still be on the aspirin and have to deliver without the epi.

My only other big fear is that my son got sick yesterday.  While I was out at my appointment, he started complaining of a headache and went upstairs and fell asleep.  When I got home, he had a fever of 102.  He's also been congested, lethargic and lost his appetite... sounds like classic flu symptoms.  I'm going to call the pediatrician today... though I am sure since he just got sick they will think I am truly a neurotic nut case.  I just don't want to deliver a baby when my family might have the flu.  And of course, I am terrified of getting it myself.  So, if they are going to have to postpone the induction, I want to get back on the aspirin.  I guess I need to slow down and take this one step at a time and see how he is feeling when he wakes up.
